Ben Chien is an experienced adtech founder, corporate executive, automobile gymkhana enthusiasts, and father of two. Driven by the desire to disrupt the status quo, he takes pride in being the only service provider of advertising monetization services to online publishers in Hong Kong, which led to his startup being acquired by a Japanese tech company. As an acqui-hired executive, his goal is to accelerate the growth of the Greater China business, and to expand services to the influencer marketing and video space. With a successful startup exit, Ben is now an active angel investor, mentor at startup accelerators, and supporters of early-stage funds.
Steve Ip is a blockchain gaming entrepreneur who has worked with many blockchain companies to build and launch a successful project. Now serving as CEO of Conductive Research, he aims to build a scalable framework to help Web3 developers scale their companies quickly. In addition, Steve is currently at Animoca Ventures as a venture partner and does research for other funds such as Bixin Ventures, IVC and Hyperedge.
Roger Li joined Yahoo, a media and tech brand for more than 10 years. With his strong expertise in technology, he is in-charged with the responsibility to bring cutting edge interactive technology to Yahoo ad solutions so to maximize client’s campaign performance.
Roger was the founding team leader in setting up the pan-APAC Advertising Technology unit and leading the operations across Yahoo Asia Pacific offices in Hong Kong, Taiwan, India and Singapore. As the senior director of Yahoo Creative Studio, Roger Li oversees a team of creative technology talents to set company-wide ad specifications and standards to facilitate ad creative operations and reduce technical frictions in campaign operations. The team is also in charge of driving development of new creative solutions, providing sales engineering services and supporting partner integration of ad solutions from Yahoo.
Prior to joining Yahoo, Roger had an engineering position in a government funded new media company, where he spent 6 years on various projects with extensive effort in developing interactive media and applications for education purposes. During the tenure, Roger was the lead of software engineers for the interactive portal that was later adopted by all primary schools in Hong Kong.
Roger earned a bachelor]'s degree in Information Engineering and a master’s degree in New Media from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a member of the Video Committee at the IAB Hong Kong (Interactive Advertising Bureau) since 2018.
